Gautrot-Marquet

I acquired a 19th-century tenor saxophone due to its remarkable similarity to an Adolphe Sax instrument!

Notes on this instrument

I bought this instrument because of the striking resemblance with an Adolphe Sax instrument! This saxophone in a sense, is a symbol of the feud between Gautrot and Adolphe Sax. In 2020, my student Adrián Vilaboa restored this saxophone for me as a present.
