Notes on this instrument

In the early 90s, an instrument such like this really sparked an extra interest in saxophone playing for me. The music school where I received my saxophone lessons, had a project where a few talented young players were allowed to play a Yamaha midi saxophone when the studio was not being used. I remember the excitement of trying out all kinds of things on this instrument, and playing this it was actually one of the first times I thought about becoming a professional musician.
