The Andreas van Zoelen collection
This cherished instrument holds a profound significance in my heart. It was bestowed upon me as a heartfelt gift by the renowned Dutch arranger, Willy Hautvast, on the occasion of my retirement as the conductor of the illustrious symphonic wind orchestra, “St. Caecilia,” in the picturesque town of Blerick, Netherlands. A beautiful piece of history, it was passed down through the generations, originating with Willy’s father.

I’ve spent years collecting, researching, and preserving saxophones, each with its own unique story. My goal with this website is to make this knowledge publicly available to saxophone lovers and researchers alike. I hope you find as much joy in this collection as I have in creating it.
