The Andreas van Zoelen collection
An incredible saxophone! Not only visually striking because of details like the placement of the low b and b-flat, but also because of the great way it plays. It has a very smooth sound and is very easy to play in the low register. It really shows that the Buescher company kept researching and developing throughout their existence.
This instrument has nothing to do with the Buescher 400 that came out after Selmer took over the brand name. Those instruments are far inferior to this wonderful instrument.

I’ve spent years collecting, researching, and preserving saxophones, each with its own unique story. My goal with this website is to make this knowledge publicly available to saxophone lovers and researchers alike. I hope you find as much joy in this collection as I have in creating it.
