Notes on this instrument

Although this instrument has no neck, I wanted to share it here for the sake of research.
The interesting thing is, compared to the other Adolphe Sax Jr. alto in my collection (length of body 63.3 cm), this body’s length is only 55.9 cm!
There is not much known about Adolphe Sax Jr. Research has mainly focussed on Sax Sr.
Both from the perspective of biography, but also in therms of research on the developement of Sax. Jr.’s saxophones throughout the years, a lot can still be discovered!
